General Solution

A general solution of a differential-equation is one where constants are not "plugged in."

When values are plugged into a general solution (into the constant above) the solution becomes a particular-solution.

General Solutions can be communicated using a slope fields.

The general solutions is sometimes represented by or depending on context.
